Alesis Strata Prime: Flagship E-Drum Power and Realism

The Alesis Strata Prime stands at the apex of electronic drum technology, offering a truly immersive playing experience for drummers demanding ultimate realism. Designed as a complete overhaul rather than an evolution, this kit features an all-new trigger system, deeply multi-sampled BFD drum library, and a massive 10.1” touchscreen module. For professionals and serious players, Strata Prime brings studio-grade sound, uncompromising build, and innovative control in a single kit.

What Makes the Strata Prime Unique

This model introduces category-first features such as a 14” active magnetic hi-hat with 360-degree triple-zone ARC cymbals, a uniquely deep 20” mesh kick drum, and a user interface that rivals software VSTs for depth and ease. The patented anti-hotspot mesh head design, true round-robin sampling across all triggers, and independent compression/EQ per drum zone give this kit a competitive edge.

Pro-Grade Sound Engine and Module Flexibility

With its BFD-powered module, over 440 kit pieces and 75 ready-to-play kits are available via a responsive 10.1” touchscreen. Multi-layer samples with true round-robin variation ensure an acoustic feel. Dial in drum presence with the Attack parameter or shape your sound using the onboard mixer’s per-mic EQ and compression. Expansion and recording are streamlined with MIDI, Bluetooth, and SD card support.

• Number of Sounds: 440 — Each sound recorded for maximum depth and realism
• Studio-crafted kits span 75 presets, covering every genre and session scenario.
• MIDI Interface: Yes — Supports MIDI in/out and Bluetooth MIDI for full DAW or VST integration

Responsive Pads and Cymbals for Expressive Performance

Mesh drum heads with adjustable tension provide an acoustic-like rebound. Dual-zone snare and toms, along with triple-zone, 360-degree cymbals, enable expressive playing. Thanks to advanced sensor technology, the range of dynamics is vast and triggering artifacts are minimized.

• Across the surface, two-ply, anti-hotspot mesh heads deliver consistent feel and reliable triggering.
• Cymbals: 18" ride, 16" crashes, 14" hi-hat — All triple-zone, full 360° playability for bell, bow, and edge articulation
• Hi-Hat Controller: Active magnetic, stand-mounted — Ultra-precise, compatible with standard hi-hat stands

Rugged Construction and Studio-Ready Connectivity

Stability is ensured by a four-post double-braced steel rack. Every pad uses a standard 1/4” cable for easy servicing and expansion. XLR, multiple TRS outs, USB, MIDI, Bluetooth audio, and SD slot provide the modern studio or live setup with all necessary connections.

• Rack System: Double-braced steel, four-post — Heavy-duty and highly adjustable
• Pedal: None included — Supports user’s own kick and hi-hat stands for customization
• Metronome: Yes — Built into the module for precision practice and session work
